Biography for Diane L. Moore, B.A., M.Ed

Diane Moore Diane Moore is Editor of The Office Professional newsletter , a monthly publication for office support staff, a college professor and experienced career counsellor. She was previously Manager of Training & Development at Centenary Health Centre in Scarborough, and has worked in the field of career counselling, adult education, and human resources consulting for the past seventeen years.

An experienced keynote speaker and published author, Ms. Moore has written more than 1400 articles and conducted workshops for thousands of people on topics such as job interview skills, career management, dealing with change, presentation skills, conflict management, assertive communication, balancing work and family, and working with different personality styles. Ms. Moore is a qualified career counsellor and assists clients with résumé preparation, career planning, and professional development. She is also a certified Survivability ® leader.

Among her hundreds of speaking engagements, she appeared as a speaker at the Professional Secretaries International (now the International Association of Administrative Professionals) Convention in 1997 in Buffalo and the IAAP Convention in 1999 in Toronto. Other speaking engagements have included the Five College Office Professional Conference in Massachusetts in 2001 and 2002, the Ontario Hospital Association Administrative Professionals Conference in 2003 and 2004, the Administrative Professionals Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004, and the 4th Annual Executive Assistants Forum sponsored by Insight Information in 2005. Ms. Moore's work has been featured in The Toronto Sun, The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and Training & Development magazine. She has been an interview guest on Flow 93.5, CFRB Radio's Wally Crouter Show in Toronto, and the Noon Business Hour Show on WMAQ Radio in Chicago.

Ms. Moore has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from York University, and a Master of Education, with a counselling focus, from the University of Toronto.
